The Rocket is our prone paddle & tow foil-board that has been specifically designed with the foil surfer in mind. From beginner to pro, the Rocket is what you need to take your foil-surfing to the next level.
Design: The design behind the Rocket is driven by pure performance. Starting with the outline, the template is a soft diamond tail, with and rounded “pointy” nose. The nose having the traditional attributes of a fish surfboard nose, but with a softer finish. Our new diamond-tail technology makes paddling into waves a dream and gives the board “lift-off."
Tail: The tail is the last part of the foil-board to touch the water surface and depending on design, either releases or grabs. The normal flat bottom and tail edge you find on other foil-boards on the market will grab and cause a sticking, sucking feeling as the board tries to stick to the water surface - not what we want for foiling. Our tail and rails have a heavy bevel edge into a soft diamond-point for a smooth release and lift. Also, when touching the water surface mid glide, the bottom bevel and tail design allows for soft touch down transitions and an easy take off again.
The Bottom: The water flows through a double nose-entry concave into flat to bevel tail. This allows the water to flow through easily during the paddle-in and take off.
The Rails: The rails have a beautiful bottom bevel running all the way to the deck. This allows for no grab touch-downs mid-flight. Great for off-the-wash and figure-8 round-house cutbacks.
